It seems like Carisi thinks he is the new sergeant. He seems to be trying to take charge over Fin and Rollins.

Well. everyone knows that Fin doesn't want to take charge. Gods forbids, that Rollins would do that with her record.

I had no problem with any SVU character actions in the episode "Imposter."

My problem was with the diminished screen play role of one of the victims: Alden Kessler.

The character of Alden Kessler - not the scumbag imposter "Tom Metcalf", but the snooty head honcho at "Hudson University" - didn't have more screen time or at least more dialog time.

Alden Kessler's ID was conscripted for what would have been deleterious actions against his reputation, the reputation of the Admissions department and by association, the reputation of a $60,000+ per year tuition institution.

I would think a University of such purported caliber would have a legal team waiting in the wings for the trail to be over to make the Tom Metcalf pay in civil court too.

I understand that there was a lot of story line to tell, but honestly, I think the audience would have been happier with tremendous civil penalties being levied against
Tom Metcalf after being criminally "slapped on the wrist."

Twenty seconds of footage with Barba telling Benson that some legislator took notice wouldn't have hurt, either.

In the Dick Wolfe Law & Order story-verse.... the Collett family would also be entitled to compensation because their kid offed himself because of the original ID theft.

I've no doubt the District Attorney would have penned the motion himself and assigned Barba (who has nothing better to do until next week) to make sure the bill passed in Albany.

Yes, that means I know that the Dick Wolfe story-verse is not an accurate reflection of realty, just "inspired by reality;" SVU is just fiction; food for thought in the real world, but still JUST FICTION.

My $0.02
